Apple celebrating iPhone's 10th anniversary

Apple is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its original iPhone, the product that launched a new age of smart phones. The iPhone first went on sale on June 29, 2007.

At the time, it was described by Apple CEO Steve Jobs as "a revolutionary product that changes everything."
Apple, he said was unveiling three products, "a wide-screen iPod with touch controls, a mobile phone, and an internet communications device" before revealing that it was a single device, called the iPhone. Jobs boasted that the iPhone was both smarter and easier to use than existing phones, which had smaller screens, hardware keyboards and whose touch-screens required a stylus.
